Dr. Noel Figueroa is a highly distinguished psychiatrist with double Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry.  He operates a prestigious medical–legal practice in Oviedo, Florida, where he is nationally recognized for his expertise, leadership, and dedication to excellence. Dr. Figueroa earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico.  He completed his full residency in Psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital–Cornell University Medical College in Manhasset, Long Island.  Subsequently, he completed one year of Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine.

In 1993, Dr. Figueroa began his service in the United States Navy as an active-duty Psychiatrist, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.  His exemplary performance and unwavering commitment to service were recognized with the prestigious

Navy Commendation Medal. Following his military service, Dr. Figueroa entered private practice in 1996, where he has since established himself as a highly respected and influential figure in the field.  He has served in key leadership positions within local hospitals, including Chief of Inpatient Psychiatric Services and Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs.

Widely regarded as a leading authority in Forensic Psychiatry, Dr. Figueroa specializes in Workers' Compensation cases and is known for his meticulous evaluations, clinical precision, and compassionate approach to care.  As a Board-Certified Forensic Psychiatrist, he has also served as an Expert Medical Advisor for the State of Florida, providing invaluable insights and guidance in complex cases.  With over 30 years of experience and impeccable credentials, Dr. Figueroa delivers expert psychiatric evaluations for complex legal matters and consistently earns the respect of attorneys, judges, and medical professionals.  His work is recognized for its exceptional quality, thoroughness, and impact in legal proceedings.
